Stabilizers, Lubricants and Stearates
Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) is a very important member thermoplastic group. Over around 75 years it has become worldwide a very important bulk plastic. Courtesy its better compatibility in contrast to plastics, consumption of PVC in different geographic areas of the world has increased tremendously. With the ability to adjust its mechanical properties, one can manufacture almost everything from rigid to flexible end products.
PVC is well known thermoplastic which has low thermal stability. PVC decomposes at elevated temperature and its properties changes. Thermal (Heat)
Stabilizers added during the processing at elevated temperatures stop the damage.
Lubricants
reduce the friction, hence enable and facilitate the processing of PVC. Stearates, Hydrocarbons, Fatty Acids, Esters are used as Internal and External Lubricants. Parag Lubricants provide internal as well as external lubrication. To give ease of use to the customers we have developed some stabilizers which are also having lubrication properties.
In addition to Stabilizers and Lubricants we also manufacture
Stearates. Compounds of long-chain fatty acids with metals are called Metallic Stearates. Metallic Stearates are advantageous due to their lubrication, water resistant, stabilizing, foam inhibition and other properties.
